Fender Squier Electric Guitars
In 1982 The Fender Squire electric guitar was introduced on Japanese instruments for the European market. The following year they were imported into the
US . Production was shifted to
Korea in 1987 and later to
China and
Mexico . In 1989 the Squire II Stratocaster began to be imported from
India . Some were also built in
Indonesia . This model is the low-cost Stratocaster Standard version of the Squire line of electric guitars.
