Fender Bass Guitar Amplifiers
When Fender released the Precision bass guitar in 1951 it also put out an amplifier called the bassman. It was a 45 watt amplifier with 4 10" speakers. It became a staple for local bass players all around the country for decades! Some players to this day swear by that old Bassman and use it reguarly. Fender continues to provide some of the best bass guitar amplifiers available. Of course, 45 watts is now considered a practice amp by many, but there are plenty of powerful Fender amplifers for your gigging needs. Today Fender employs horns and various sized speakers in some of their models for a full spectrum of sound. Many professional bass players own nothing but Fender bass amplifiers.
