Danelectro Electric Guitars
The Danelectro guitar company was founded in Red Bank, NJ by Nathan I Daniel who was an electronics aficionado. He first built amps for retail outlets in NYC. Over the years the Danelectro company has built solid body, acoustic and acoustic electric guitars in addition to amps. Danelectro is responsible for some of the effects which have become very popular. In 1969 Danelectro closed its doors and leftover stock was sold to Dan Armstrong who assembled several hundred Danelectro guitars as Dan Armstrongs. The Danelectro guitar line was restarted in 2005.
